Middle School is a difficult time in life; trying to figure out who you are, who you want to be, where you fit in, and wondering if you fit in at all! Your body is changing and some days you just feel…well…awkward. Then to make it more difficult you go to a school with 800+ students who are going through the same thing, trying to figure out the same things and…whew…sounds like a physical and emotional disaster.
As a teenager you’re starting to think for yourself now (or trying to) and mom and dad are really starting to get on your nerves. Because all you want is a little freedom to make your own decisions.
Then there’s this whole God thing…now you have to decide if what your parents believe really works for you or not. It seems like you have more questions than answers. And every question leads to more questions!
Does this sound like you? Well, you’re not alone…this is what everybody’s thinking in Middle School. But don’t worry there is good news!
Here at V2SM we have created a place just for you! This is a place where you can turn down the volume on the world, on your school, and even (in some instances) your parents…so you can turn up the volume on YOU. That’s why we call our Middle School student ministry VOLUME. At Volume we listen more then we talk, and we help you work through your questions. We believe that once you figure out who you are in Christ, all the rest will follow: feeling loved, feeling significant, feeling accepted, feeling safe, gaining purpose, and figuring out who you really are in this crazy couple of years.

Wednesday Nights 7:00pm – 8:30pm @ the FallOut
Come hang out with us before the service! Play some Wii or Xbox360, or maybe air hockey is your thing, or even try your skills at pool by taking Mikey or Chooch on in a game or two. Or you could just grab some snacks at the café and hang out in the V2 lounge with your new friends chillin’ in front of one of our many Plasma TV’s. Then head down to the FallOut for some loud music, crazy games, cool prizes, good times, and a message straight from God’s word that you can understand. Real students, doing real life together.

Sunday Mornings: Two showings @ 9:45am & 11:15am (You pick which hour)
Real students, doing real life, experiencing a real God together. Grab a donut and a cappuccino at the café then head up to the V2 lounge. Take a spot on one of our many mod-contempo couches in front of the fire place and buckle up. One of our many small group leaders will rock your mind for the next 45 minutes. There’s nothing boring about God and his word, in fact we’re the ones who make the bible and God boring. But nothing about our Life Groups is boring. You’ll be amazed at how the word of God comes to life and actually makes sense. You owe it to yourself…come plug in with us!
